Pumping ice cream with Verderair HI-CLEAN diaphragm pumps
The viscous base mixture to produce ice cream is viscous. This mixture contains a certain percentage of cream. When pumping the base ice cream mixture it is very important not to excessively whip the cream mixture as the cream can turn into butter.
A benefit of Verderair air diaphragm pumps is that these pumps will not cause turbulence. Turbulence in base ice cream mixtures can lead to quality loss. Verderair diaphragm pumps will transfer the viscous mixture whilst maintaining the base mixture quality.
Verderair diaphragm pumps are excellent pumps for application all over the food industry and are often used for pumping ice cream. Verderair pumps are designed to be very easy to clean and can be used as part of any clean in place (CIP) process. The Verderair diaphragm pumps are easy to dismantle.
