VERDER in the top of Dutch Manufacturing Industry again

Verder International has been named by MT/Sprout as the number 2 company in the top 100 of the Dutch Manufacturing Industry. For the past three years, Verder International has led this list and therefore we are proud that, despite the corona crisis, we are still performing excellently and have once again secured a podium place in this prestigious list. Our congratulations go to AGAR Holding as the new winner of the Maakindustrie100 edition 2021. The top 5 is completed by Trespa International B.V. (3rd), AAE Holding B.V. (4th) and Citadel Industrial Division B.V. (5th).

Criteria

According to MT.com: 'The family business from Vleuten, headed by CEO Andries Verder, produces high-tech laboratory equipment and a very wide range of pumps and mixers for industrial applications.' In the past year, Verder International has once again shown that they continuously score high on the criteria used by the top100: turnover, sales growth, profit growth and ROIC.

Stable growth and continuity

Andries Verder: "It is good that companies are assessed in figures over a period of 5 years. We aim for stable growth with a focus on continuity. This is reflected in our figures, and it is partly why we have been at the top of this ranking for the last years. Furthermore, we only operate in numerous niche markets and spread the risks over many countries. Cash flow and profit are particularly important for our continuity. Profit is decisive for the future and therefore for the survival of our company. We are convinced that the future looks bright for Verder International and aim to regain the No. 1 position.'

Many newcomers

The maakindustrie100 list is compiled by CFI and is powered by Euler Hermes and Webs. Every year this ranking is published with the 100 best performing Dutch manufacturing companies with a turnover up to 500 million Euro. The edition of 2021 is based on filed figures from 2020 and has many changes compared to previous editions. For example, this year's top100 includes a striking number of newcomers and construction-related companies that have done well despite the corona pandemic.
